The R-Skirt track system uses a durable PVC Keder track system and fewer screws than other skirting options. Our track system uses 3 M's VHB series of adhesive tape, a double-tape that adheres quickly and strengthens its bond over time. This combination requires only five screws per each 8' section of the track instead of needing buttons every 12". Our original track skirting system used in The R-Skirt enables us to create a more precise fit for the features of your tiny home. Other benefits include:

The same easy-to-install skirting is now available for tiny homes, and the good news is, it's just as easy! The DIY skirting kit comes with everything you need to install your tiny house skirting. The R-Skirt DIY skirting kit is ideal for those with basic tools and skill-level who don't want to wait for an installation pro or anyone outside our service radius.

Orders are processed within 2-3 weeks, and shipping is free.

Our DIY Skirting Kit includes almost everything you need to install your skirt right out of the box, including heavy-duty vinyl skirting panels, a Keder track with 3M adhesive, cleaning and primer agents, track cutters, snaps, snap tools, velcro, etc.

Tools required: Paper towels, a pencil, scissors, a straight edge, and a screw gun.

When we first created The R-Skirt Skirting System, we lived in a 2017 5th wheel in the middle of Illinois. After months of research and talking with other community members, we realized that there needed to be a better skirting option available. So, we designed something that would work for our needs. Then, we ordered the skirting materials for our prototype and began to install it onto our home using only a basic set of tools. After all, RVers don't often have overflowing toolboxes due to weight restrictions. Nevertheless, it worked so well that we quickly got requests from neighboring campers.

Installation Options Are Available

We also offer installation services in addition to our skirting DIY Kit. Anyone within 200 miles of Akron, Indiana, qualifies for in-person installation with a minimal travel fee.* You could meet the Reed family during your install, or we may send one of our highly trained and trusted RV skirting installers. Be sure to add the installation option to your skirting order.
